Basilica

The basilica is built on a promontory dominating the sea 124 m, north of Algiers it is accessible by a cable car that bears its name from Bologhine (ex-Saint-Eugène) where the Saint-Eugène cemetery is located. like (the twin sister of our church – lady of the guard the basilica is nicknamed Madame Afrique) or Lalla Myriem by the inhabitants of the neighborhood.
