General presentation
The wilaya of Algiers represents by its strategic position the Algerian capital, an essential crossroads between Europe passing through North Africa. This is how commercial, cultural and political exchanges are intense between the wilaya of Algiers and the countries from the Arab world. Located in Tell, in the north of Algeria, this wilaya has a Mediterranean climate where hot summers and winters are mild and rainy and sometimes snowy with an area of 1,190 km2.
