Dar Ahmed Bey is located in the lower Kasbah, in the district Souk-el-Djemâa, bordering the Hadj omar street.It was built in the 16th century as a residence of Dey.She was classified in 1887.Currently; it houses the Direction of the Algerian national theater. It is the subject of rehabilitation works.
